This past Tuesday I got to work with this amazingly beautiful and luminous baby girl named Evan. I was elated since the weather was balmy and super sunny (for once!), so I had amazing lighting to work with that day. Mindy and Brian’s house has a huge window in the living room, so I took full advantage of it! Here are lil collages I created with pics of Evan, Benson (the biggest dog I have ever met :-), Rex, Mindy and Brian. They are such a beautiful and kind family and I love working with them every time!
The Super Wolf Blood Moon
I absolutely LOVE lunar eclipses! I think they are powerful in a myriad of ways. For our ancestors, lunar eclipses meant new important cycles were about to begin, and most of all, they signified renewal and transformation. I have BIG DREAMS and SIGNIFICANT GOALS for 2019! One of the them was creating a much better website, and not just a digital portfolio that could showcase my work in a more accurate way, but that could also translate the passion I feel for photography, and a platform where I could display images of all the people I LOVE! And yes, my galleries are filled with pictures of my clients, but MOST of those clients have been working with me for YEARS, some of them, for more than 10, and I could not be more grateful!
The beginning of the year is usually a very important time of the year for me, I feel that if I can focus and gather momentum in January and February, which are usually somehow difficult months, that momentum will propel myself effortlessly into Spring, and then the rest of my year will have to follow. The day of the eclipse I forced myself to get out despite the cold, and met a fascinating group of people who love Astronomy as much as I do! We all gathered at Mile High Astronomy Store’s parking lot, and viewed the eclipse through various amazing telescopes. One of the store owners allowed us to connect our cellphones to one of the telescopes through an adapter, so I took these cool shots that day!
The site is finally complete, and I could not be happier with it! (One significant goal accomplished) :-)
I hope you all enjoy it and are able to feel how palpable my dedication is to this beautiful art, and most importantly, how much I love working with everyone <3
